Family Compound, Jeddah
Classical-style private family compound in Jeddah, awarded through a design competition and delivered with full architectural and engineering services.
Project Overview
MOK Architects won the commission for this private family compound in Jeddah through a design competition, and went on to prepare the final design and supervise construction. The scheme is rendered in a classical idiom, with the villas arranged within a single compound linked by shared spaces and landscaped gardens, striking a balance between the privacy of each unit and the integrity of the compound as a single family setting.
Scope of Work
Our office prepared the full architectural and engineering design, developed the site master plan, and supervised construction from inception through final handover. The detailing pursues a unified architectural language across the villas, alongside the ancillary buildings and shared services supporting the compound.
Delivery
The project was completed and handed over on specification between 1986 and 1991, standing as one of the firm’s signature classical residential projects.
Bring us in early.
The earlier we coordinate engineering with architectural intent, the better the project performs — on cost, on schedule, and on compliance.
