Al Falah Schools Campus
Multi-phase development of the Al Falah Schools campus in Jeddah's Al Nahdah District — high school building, mosque complex, courtyard shade, and a new educational extension delivered between 1998 and 2009.
Project Overview
MOK Architects delivered a multi-phase development of the Al Falah Schools campus in Al Nahdah District, Jeddah, working with the General Administration of Al Falah Schools. The campus occupies an 8,088 m² site and was developed in four sequential phases between 1998 and 2009.
High School Building
February 1998 to April 2000. A 1,285 m² model educational building designed for the secondary school programme, complete with classrooms, workshops and laboratories.
Mosque Complex
February 2004 to April 2006. A 466 m² building combining workshops and laboratories in one wing with a student mosque accommodating around 300 worshipers, along with toilets and ablution facilities.
Courtyard Shade
February 2004 to April 2007. An iron canopy with a Teflon fabric covering over the high school yard, designed and engineered in collaboration with a specialist German firm.
New Building Extension
September 2009. New buildings for the preparatory and secondary schools — a ground floor plus four floors on a 1,152 m² footprint — including classrooms, a central library, a theatre seating approximately 200, and a basement car park for 45 vehicles.
Bring us in early.
The earlier we coordinate engineering with architectural intent, the better the project performs — on cost, on schedule, and on compliance.
